common test/SCO
woots! it's the weekends!(FINALLY! *PHEW*)
well.. i would say that this is a very busy week.. why i say so? cause there is this thing called COMMON TEST. the moment u return to school, the teachers scold u for not finishing your homework, do last minute revisions, etc etc. and here it is, the 1st day of common test.
i practically screwed up my english and mother tongue paper. i was dreaming i guess, im just too tired. slept at 12 last night practicing maths just to prepare for the maths paper today. it was fine though. it's just eng and mt papers!
the english paper was situational writing, a letter to your cousin.................. of course, like the previous one we did in class, there was comparison needed to do. im not sure if my points are out or additional sentences/words are added in which are not acceptable. screwed it up, just screwed it. hopefully i'll get a pass(:
the mother tongue paper... GOODNESS! it was hell.. sorry to say this but IT WAS HELL! i dont understand what the questions are asking. u ask me what the questions are.. i cant tell u either cause i dont even rmb what the questions are. lol. seriously, that paper was crap. i gonna fail it as usual. been failing ever since. but i hope to score well in fact.... i've got a major paper during mid-year. how to buck up? how am i going to pull up my 'chinese' socks?
mt lessons were quite boring today. i wasnt really paying attention to him, i was doing something else.. hmm.. something which i cant rmb. LOL. then there's choir.. it was quite fine. we sang the three songs for syf and changed some choreo. it was good overall, just that everyone was chatty and duh, hungry. after choir was SCO. shuhan and i thought they will give us a break or so and we could go grab a bite at least but nope, there wasnt. but we took a chance and tadah! we succeeded! hahahah(: lololol.
learning the SCO song was ok. the song is pretty easy though and quite high. shu han and i left sch at around 4.30pm. we were doing magic tricks in school to pass time. hahahaha! it's quite a fine choice for CHOICES. as we were about to leave, it started drizzling and then poured. shu han and i were like 'oh dear... how are we gonna get there in time in this rain?' it was a passing cloud i guess as the rain was quite short. we managed to borrow an umbrella from olivia(thanks senior!) and ate at paya lebar's kfc. HEAVEN IT WAS! it was ages since i last ate kfc. just a bite into that zinger burger made me float like im in heaven.. hahahha!
we left kfc around 5.30. it was quite early when we reached tanjong pagar and made our way to SCO concert hall, which is Singapore Conference Hall, after meeting up with Andrea, Ashley, Istilah,Cheryl Tan and Cheryl Lim. esmondo and varianni were there already and surprisingly they were early! but they cheated.. take taxi sia... cheat cheat. LOL.
the training was tiring. it was not even 8 and i was yawning already. the schools that attended were TK, cat. high, vs. ahs. mj, aj and vc. it was quite messy as mr kwei didnt want two vc people to be sitting side by side but instead, separate and slot themselves in between the other choir members. the combine with the orchestra was quite well(: the song IS nice.. with the orchestra of course.... however we stood on stage for almost an hour i guess. it was tiring and after the whole thing, my back was aching and so are my shoulders. overall, it's just------------------------------TIRED/FATIGUE!!! we were lucky to be released early and not at 10.30 if not i really wonder what time i gonna reach home. man, that's really late!
talking about common test and the mid-year paper.. that BIG BIG MAJOR paper.. i still have another paper in like 2 weeks' time? oh geesh.. 2 WEEKS! guess im gonna screw the paper? nahhhh, i've paid a lot for just a single piece of paper and a cert. please let me pass the paper and best is not to fail.
wow, it's 12.43 AM. though im sosososososososo tired.. im still holding on though my eyes are closing real soon. gonna end here(: the cny one i guess i'll do it another day then. hahahhahaha x)
