to give up or to continue

there's this soldier,
he likes the princess very much.
however, the princess had no feelings for him at all.
but the princess said,
'i will consider if you stand at the foot of my castle for 100 days.'
and so he did.
he stood there,
be it bright hot sunny days,
or stormy cold rainy nights.
soon the 99th day came,
but the soldier gave up on the 100th day.
why?
because he was afraid the princess would reject him.

see.. u like someone.
not that kind of like.. but really really really like him/her.
but u know he/she isnt gonna like you..
there are two ways u can take:
one is like the above - give up.
second - continue liking that person.

u may be wondering why the second option is to continue liking that person.
well, maybe because u wanna let that person know that u really like him/her.
may not be like but even love..
so that's why u are clinging onto that little bit of faith..
hoping that the person u are in love with would be touched.
that's my opinion.. u may not agree with me cause u have you own way of thinking.
hahaha..

the choice is yours and yours alone.
not mine, not his, not hers, not theirs, no ones.
just YOURS.
